羅德島大學（University of Rhode Island, URI）是一所中等大小的公立綜合性全國大學，成立于1892年，主校區位于美國東部小城金斯敦（Kingston, RI）。

羅德島大學總共有4個校區，除主校區外，其余三個校區分別座落在普羅維登斯的范士丹校園（Feinstein）、納拉甘西特的納拉甘西特灣校區（Narragansett Bay）和西格林威治的奧爾頓·瓊斯校區（W. Alton Jones）。羅德島大學共開設有7所學術學院，提供79個本科課程和49個研究生課程，授予學生學士、碩士和博士學位。學校開設的課程包括：藝術與科學、商學、工程、人類科學、環境與生命科學、護理與藥學等，另一所大學學院一切以服務本科生為主。

學校歷史

羅德島大學初建是1888年，當時只是一所農學院與農業試驗站。到1892年，學校被稱作羅德島農業與機械學院。第一批學生僅招錄到17名，學制2年。1909年，學校再次更名為羅德島州立學院，學校課程也在原有基礎上做了擴充和延展。1951年，學校正式命名為羅德島大學并提供博士學位。
