Condensed matter physics is a branch of physics that deals with the physical properties of condensed phases of matter.[1] Condensed matter physicists seek to understand the behavior of these phases by using physical laws. In particular, these include the laws of quantum mechanics, electromagnetism and statistical mechanics. 凝聚態物理學是一門以物質的宏觀物理性質作為主要研究對象的學科。所謂“凝聚態”指的是由大量粒子組成，并且粒子間有很強的相互作用的系統。自然界中存在著各種各樣的凝聚態物質，它們深刻地影響著人們日常生活的方方面面。
